We need YOU to call Governor Cuomo and other New York decision makers right now and tell them why they shouldn’t sacrifice the Catskills and Southern Tier to a fracked-gas pipeline.

- Much of the gas that would be carried on the Constitution Pipeline is headed for export—not to New York and the northeast.
- The most recent report from the US Department of Energy shows that gas exports will significantly increase the cost of heating for residential, commercial and industrial use in the US.
- The USDOE report states: “Although owners of natural gas resources and many downstream investors will benefit from the export boom, regular wage-earners will face higher home heating costs.”
- It’s outrageous that New Yorkers should foot the bill so that a private corporation and its shareholders can increase their profits.
- The “Constitution” Pipeline is a bad deal for New York. I’m asking the governor to stop this project and protect New Yorkers.

This 30-inch-diameter, 124-mile-long high-pressure pipeline would carry fracked gas from Pennsylvania, through the forests, farms, fields and front yards of New York residents, and on to Canada for export.
The New York Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) can stop this Un-Constitutional Pipeline by DENYING the necessary permits.
