Construction of the proposed 30 inch Constitution Pipeline would bring the 36 inch Northeast Energy Direct pipeline to our area as well. This second gas pipeline is planned to run parallel to the first, taking additional land, trees, and wetlands, putting our waters at risk.
It would bring a compressor station to Franklin, putting our air at risk.
It would also take our property by eminent domain, so that a giant private corporation could profit at our expense.
Federal guidelines allow for ANY size pipeline next to your home, next to your barn, next to YOUR kids school.
In the event of a pipeline explosion, YOU would be in the zone of highest consequence, the BURN ZONE.
Have your voice heard – TESTIFY at Thursday’s scoping hearing.
